PaceBuzz Terms of Use

By downloading or using PaceBuzz, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your license to use the app.

What PaceBuzz is

PaceBuzz is a training stopwatch. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the app — including heart rate readings, pace cues, or logged lactate and effort values — is medical advice. Train sensibly and consult a professional for health decisions.

PaceBuzz Premium

PaceBuzz Premium is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple. It removes the free tier's capacity limits (current-workout count, run-history depth, workout archive restore) on the Apple ID that purchased it. Manual Strava uploads, automatic Strava uploads, and exports are free PaceBuzz features and do not require Premium. Purchases and refunds are managed by Apple under their terms; you can restore a previous purchase in the app.

Your data

PaceBuzz stores your recordings on your devices. If you choose an export or a Strava upload, the shared copy can include recorded health, fitness, and location data, as described in the Privacy Policy. Review your sharing choices and the receiving service's privacy settings.

Strava

Connecting Strava is optional. You can upload individual runs or enable automatic uploads for new runs from More → Strava. Availability depends on an internet connection and Strava's service, permissions, and API limits. A delayed or failed upload does not remove your local PaceBuzz recording. Disconnecting clears PaceBuzz's local Strava connection and upload links; your recorded runs remain in PaceBuzz and previously uploaded activities remain in Strava until you delete them there.

Your use of Strava is governed by Strava's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. PaceBuzz is not affiliated with Strava. Contact PaceBuzz for support with the integration; Strava is not responsible for supporting PaceBuzz.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and don't rely on it in situations where a timing error could cause harm.

Warranty and liability

PaceBuzz is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, third-party service providers, including Strava, provide no warranties for PaceBuzz or its integration, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, and are not liable for consequential, special, punitive, or indirect damages arising from it. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
